About Me

My name is Ann and I am based in UK, working as a technical consultant. Probably the most important thing I learned so far is Life is short. There is more to life than business and money, we should live our life's whilst we have the chance. 

I started this blog few years back as a hobby while I was doing my MBA's, but it opened my a new digital world and it is stage to meet new people from different continents and share similar interest.

When we meet someone the first question that comes your way is tell be about yourself so here I am to tell "about me" so here I am ..

I would say to a stranger that I am friendly but not stupid. I would also say that I am a learner and always want to be improving or learning more about things. Lastly, I would say that I’m quiet in a crowd but not when I am one on one with people.

I would tell them that I’m a honest and hardworking individual. I am usually busy and like to pursue my goals wholeheartedly. I have a tendency to hold on to things from the past and can be bitter at times.

I am an extremely determined person. No matter what, I will push through limitations and adversity to try and get what I want, and what is best for myself and those around me. Beyond that, I am extremely compassionate and kind person.

 I can be quiet at first, but once you get to know me, I don’t shut up. I am fun loving, but serious when necessary. I have a logical mind but understand and feel emotions as well.

I am a calm and reserved person. That said, I would not pay special attention to a stranger. At moments, I would rather ignore the being of a stranger and do my own thing.

I’m a hard working person who doesn’t like to give up. I strive for what I want and keep my goals in mind 24/7. This allows me to see exactly what I want and plan on how I will get it.

And last I’m a foodie and culinarian. And I’m proud to admit it!
I love cooking, when I feel like it. Sound familiar? Don't get me wrong, cooking is my passion but sometimes passion can be a real pain in the ass. Cooking is time intensive, thoughtful, creative, fickle, heart breaking, fun, terrible, experimental and wonderful. 

But beyond an interest in food, I am curious and want to know about ingredients, about preparation, about chefs, about food-culture. I ’ll travel quite a distance, just to try a restaurant or a special dish.
